DESCRIPTION
We are looking to recruit a Graphic Designer who will join our Marketing department.

Role
We are a busy in-house design team (Creative Services) which cover a range of digital and print work from marketing communications collateral, corporate literature, proposals, and advertisements.

We are looking to recruit a Creative Designer who will join our Marketing department and can conceptualise, execute and lead graphic design projects whilst adhering to our corporate brand guidelines.

We are keen to hear from candidates who possess the following:

  • 5 years relevant experience within a similar environment
  • Strong understanding of typography, image, layout & colour
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
  • Familiarity with print production and print finishes
  • An understanding UX design principles and current digital design trends
  • Experience with HTML 5/CSS integration and front-end design
  • Understanding of motion graphics and experience with Adobe After Effects
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint and Word
  • Comfortable taking projects from briefing through to completion
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A high degree of energy, enthusiasm and adaptability
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
  • Be able to prioritise tasks and complete work with a high attention to detail
  • Possesses a degree in visual communication or related field
  • You will need to provide a CV and design portfolio illustrating your best work in the first instance
  • The role requires creative thinking and the ability to provide innovative and creative solutions and design support for the firm. You will work as part of a team with other designers and liaise on a regular basis with printers, web developers, photographers, and account executives.

    Key responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualise and execute design projects from initiation to completion
  • Provide bespoke and innovative ideas for digital and print deliverables
  • Presenting design solutions and achieving buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Obtaining effective briefs and working with clients to determine project scopeDesign campaigns composing of brochures, signage, infographics, screen presentations, web interfaces, banners ads and video
  • Promote and ensure brand compliance within the firm
  • Print management, both internally and with third party suppliers
  • Collaborate with our internal web development team and third party suppliers
  • Organise and art direct Photoshoots
  • Participate and collaborate with our creative team in brainstorming sessions
  • There is, on occasion, a requirement to work outside normal working hours in response to fluctuating workflow levels and as client deadlines approach.

    Team
    The Marketing team comprises 18 professionals who devise and implement a variety of marketing campaigns and initiatives across the marketing mix. The firm’s marketing campaigns are designed to support and profile our professional staff, showcase expertise, thought leadership and facilitate client development opportunities. Our team focuses on a range of activities including PR and media, digital channels, events, conferences, sponsorships, research, issues led campaigns, thought leadership, design, proposal and pursuit activity. The firm also provides design services to other areas of the firm on an ad-hoc basis.
